Winnifred M. Wheeler passed away February 18, 2014. She was born on July 17, 1924, in Nashua, NH, to the late Guy H. Maxwell and Lottie (George) Maxwell. She was married on July 27, 1940, to the late Jerald L. Wheeler. Married over 70 years, the Wheeler household on Brookline Street, Pepperell, MA, has been open to family and friends for over 70 years. Mother of ten, Mom to hundreds. To say she will be missed is a gross understatement. Friends around the world, Winnie has set a great example not only to her own family but to many around Pepperell. A member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Pepperell Lions Club, she worked many charitable events to support her beloved community. Winnie was well respected by all. Winnie worked at Bemis Bag for 22 years, Motorcycles of Manchester for 21 years and was a Top Avon Representative for over 25 years. She will be missed by all whose life she has ever touched. She is survived by her children Jerald E. Wheeler of Pepperell, MA, Richard W. Wheeler of Brookline, NH, Dennis A. Wheeler of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Rosemary L. Gilley of Pepperell, MA, Joel H. Wheeler of Pepperell, MA, Wayne D. Wheeler of Pepperell, MA, Cheryl A. Smith of Salem, NH, Gene S. Wheeler of Pepperell, MA, Barry D. Wheeler of Nashua, NH, and she was also the mother of the late Ronald L. Wheeler. Also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great, Great Grandchildren. She was also predeceased by 4 siblings.
