Pepperell, MA – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Warren Arthur Razzaboni Sr., 81, of Pepperell, MA, on November 20, 2024. Warren was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family.
Warren was born on October 1, 1943, in Somerville, MA, to George Razzaboni Sr. and Josephine Faraco Razzaboni. He grew up in a close-knit family, forming lifelong bonds with his siblings: George Razzaboni Sr. (late Sally Razzaboni) of Brookline, NH; Beverley Tisei of Wakefield, MA; the late Edward Razzaboni and his wife Kathleen Razzaboni of Pepperell, MA; Millie Thibeault of Englewood, CO, Walter Razzaboni and his wife Rosemary of Milford, NH; and Dianne and her husband Richard Kazanjian of Pepperell, MA.
Warren married his late wife, Marie (Soucy) Razzaboni, and together they built a loving family. He was the proud father of three children: Warren Razzaboni Jr. and his partner Karen Newsham of Lunenburg, MA; Wayne Razzaboni and his wife Tracey of Pepperell, MA; and Angela (Razzaboni) Taplin and her husband James Taplin of Piedmont, SC. Warren was the cherished “Bumpa” to his grandchildren Tyler, Kayla, Mia, Kara, Justin, and Nico, and was overjoyed to be a great-grandfather to Tyler Warren Razzaboni Jr., Tab and Elin Gallardo.
Later in life, Warren found companionship and joy with Marilyn Gallardo of Westford, MA. They shared 21 wonderful years together, during which he became like a father to her children: Jeff Gallardo and Jodi of Tewksbury, MA; Brian Gallardo and his wife Tara Nelson of Gloucester, MA; and Julie Gallardo of Somerville, MA.
Warren loved family trips to Martha’s Vineyard, especially watching the sunset in Menemsha, and cherished annual vacations to Aruba and Sanibel. Weekends at Lake Winnisquam with his family were among his happiest memories. His most recent trip to visit his daughter in South Carolina meant the world to him. Warren was happiest hosting barbecues for family and friends and always took great joy in celebrating the milestones of those he loved, never missing a single one.
Warren and his three brothers spent over 40 years running Razzaboni’s Brothers Supermarket in Pepperell, serving the community and developing close bonds with all the patrons. He later worked for more than 10 years at the Westford Highway Department, where he found joy in cooking meals for his crew after clearing snow from New England’s infamous nor’easters.
In the final chapter of his career, Warren worked alongside his son Wayne at National Computer Direct as the Director of Logistics. He took great pride in supporting his son’s business and the accomplishments they achieved together.
He was the proud member of the Pepperell Road Nights, K of C and Jaycees.
