Thomas F. "Tim" Codyer

Thomas F. “Tim” Codyer, age 76, of Pepperell, formerly of Acton, passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2024, with his wife Laurie at his side. Born on August 11, 1948 in Boston, Tim was a son of the late Thomas F. and Gladys G. (Hartlen) Codyer.

Tim was raised in Acton where he attended the local schools. At the age of 14, he began working at Emerson Hospital, assisting with odd-jobs throughout the hospital and in various departments. Upon graduating from Acton-Boxborough High School, Tim earned his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern, and later, his MBA from Rivier. Tim began his career as a patrol officer for the Town of Carlisle. Following his time in Carlisle, Tim shifted gears and went on to work for TJX in their corporate headquarters as an IT Manager.

Tim enjoyed vacationing at Wells Beach and camping throughout the White Mountains and in various state parks and national forests throughout the Northeast. He was an active member of the Westford Sportsmen’s Club.

In addition to his wife, Laurie, Tim is survived by his son, Thomas E. Codyer, of Alaska. Tim was the brother of the late Kerry Codyer. He is survived by brothers Philip Codyer of Pepperell and Andrew (Laura) Codyer of Acton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Tim’s wishes, a private family burial service will be held at Pepperell Association Cemetery in the Spring of 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Westford Sportsmen’s Club, PO Box 742, Westford, MA 01886-0023
