Rose A. Shattuck

Rose A. Shattuck, 91, of Pepperell, died on January 1, 2022 following a 12-year battle with dementia. Born in Hollis, NH on September 2, 1930, Rose was the daughter of the late Armand Lavoie and Rose Pelletier. Rose was the beloved wife of Louis Shattuck who predeceased her in 2018.

Rose worked as a hairdresser for many years until she became a real estate agent. She was very good at her job being recognized as the top salesperson several times.

Rose is survived by her 4 children, Donald Shattuck, Linda Zeogas, Bonnie Shattuck and Todd Shattuck; grandchildren and spouses Sandi Tolworthy and Frank, Thomas Tolworthy II, Krystal Zeogas, Amy Valez and Jeff, Stacy Bates and Chad, Christopher Shattuck and Jessica, Kerry Carafa and Matt, Kylie Murphy and Eric; great-grandchildren Layla Jensen, Rhianna Jensen, Thomas Tolworthy III, Jeffrey Velez, Adam Velez, James Jones, Tegan Jones, Riley Dunn, Elizabeth Murphy, Kaylee Murphy, Emma Murphy, Eric Jr., Sean Murphy, Clayton Shattuck, as well as all her beloved nieces and nephews. Rose was the sister of Rita Poulin and Irene Miner.

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Tuesday, January 11th from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Facial coverings required. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 40 Heald St. Pepperell, MA on Wednesday, January 12th at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to the Pepperell Senior Center (Albert Harris Center), 37 Nashua Rd., Pepperell, MA 01463.
