Ronald James "Pickles" Bedard Jr., age 54, of Fitchburg formerly of Pepperell passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2020 at his home.
Mr. Bedard was born in Lowell on November 18, 1965 a son of Ronald J. Bedard Sr. and Rose T. (Monteiro) Bedard. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, James A. Bedard of Townsend and Richard R. Bedard of Lunenburg; sister Beth A. Bedard of Pepperell and brother Derek W. Bedard of Shirley; niece Shelby Chapman; and former wife Madelyn Bedard.
Ron spent his early life in Pepperell where he attended the local schools. He was a graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School, Class of 1983. Following high school, Ron spent over 30 years working as a Plastics Engineer with Nypro in Clinton. In his spare time, he enjoyed both fresh and saltwater fishing, hunting, playing cards, golf, and working on his home. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held from the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Thursday, November 5 from 9 - 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshipping at St. Joseph's Church, 28 Tarbell St. Pepperell, MA at 11 AM. Facial coverings and social distancing will apply. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to a local animal shelter of your choosing.
