Richard Roy “Dickie” Timpani Jr., 65, a lifelong resident of Pepperell, passed away on July 22, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton. Born in Lowell on May 14, 1956 Dickie was the son of the late Virginia M. (Dow) and Richard R. Timpani Sr.
A true townie, Dickie was a lifelong resident of Pepperell. He attended the local schools graduating from North Middlesex High School. He worked for Bemis Bag for over 20 years as a forklift operator before going to work for the Pepperell Water Department, from which he retired in May of 2021. In addition, he served the Town of Pepperell as a volunteer police officer for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating on the Lakes Region and time spent with his best friend and companion, Kaiser, his beloved German Shepherd.
Dickie will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend. He is survived by sisters Brenda Shattuck of Pepperell, Susan Walsh of Pepperell, Janet Stowers of Cocoa, FL, several nephews, and one niece. He was predeceased by his parents.
For all of you that really knew Dickie, you are fully aware of his sense of humor and how he had a nickname or comment for everything – “nothing personal” – he loved every one of you.
