Richard L. Byron, formerly of Lowell passed away October 13, 2014, after a long illness. His final days were spent surrounded by family. He was pre-deceased by the love of his life, his wife of 53 years, Pauline V. (Ouellette) Byron.
Dick was born on July 21, 1941 in Lowell, MA to the late Ovide and Yvonne (Larrivee) Byron
Dick was a strong courageous man with a giant heart and a gentle soul. Always willing to share a joke, some laughter and smile. He was indeed a family man. He loved his children and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dick worked at the former Malden Mills in Lawrence Ma, for 33 years as a R&D Special Product Engineer. Dick also enjoyed wood-working and working outdoors. He also served in the United States Navy.
Dick is survived by 6 sons, Richard M. Byron and wife Gail, Thomas L. Byron and wife Allison, all of Dracut. Mark P. Byron of Watertown, James A. Byron and wife Brenda of Hudson, NH, Michael R. Byron of Davenport, IA, Kevin J. Byron and wife Jeanne of Lowell, and daughter Amy J. (Byron) and husband Keith Normand of Plaistow, NH; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. a�He is also survived by 2 sisters Mrs. Lorraine (Byron) Finnegan of Lowell and Mrs. William (Pauline) Serwatka of Dracut.a�
