Ralph Brian Blood

Ralph Brian Blood, 58, passed away, his hand in his wife's hand, on May 28, 2015, after a short, courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was born November 8,1956, in Nashua, NH, and lived his entire life in Pepperell and Groton prior to retiring to Florida last year. He retired after a 31 year career with NSTAR Electric and Gas, and also operated his own commercial cleaning company for over 25 years. Brian loved spending time at his family camps on Moosehead Lake, Maine; and considered that to be the most peaceful place on Earth. He was an avid hockey player, and continued to play up until the time of his diagnosis in November 2014.a� Brian was predeceased by his mother Mabel Jean Blood and his brother Hosmer Blood. He leaves his loving wife Sharon Blood of Wimauma, FL., his father Ralph Blood of Pepperell and his sister Marcia (Lenny) Scofield of Pepperell.a� Brian leaves a daughter, Ashley Blood (Greg Creighton) of Pepperell, a son, Travis Blood (Megan) of Providence RI, three step-sons, Brett Berberian (Jennifer Ty) of Grafton, Nathan Berberian (Jaclyn Goldsworth) of Upton, Adam Berberian of Natick and 2 grandchildren, Riley and Mia Berberian. He also leaves four children that he helped raise and loved as his own, Ben Thibault of Lincoln, NH, Greg Thibault of Brookline, NH, Andrew Thibault of Salisbury, and Julia Metcalf of Santa Monica, CA. He leaves many nieces and nephews, in-laws, extended family and more friends than could ever be counted. Brian was loved by all who met him and he touched so many lives. He will be greatly missed. He lived life to the fullest and loved the expression "we are not here for a long time, we are here for a good time".
