Peter Maluf, of Leominster, died Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT after a series of medical issues that clouded his retirement years.
Mr. Maluf worked as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for 23 years for late Naval-Air Corps Veteran Chester Kaminski and 16 years for the late Ronald Bouvier.
A gifted trumpet player, Mr. Maluf was also an accomplished, if mostly unpublished, poet, musician, mathematician, art critic, and political analyst. He was conversant in French and had a working knowledge of Latin and Greek, along with a keen appreciation for philosophy and history. In recent years, Mr. Maluf developed a special interest in the New Testament’s Epistle to the Hebrews, producing a hand-written copy of the entire text in its original Greek form.
Peter leaves behind four sibling: Mariam Maluf of Still River, MA, Dr. Leonard Maluf, S.T.D. (Doctor of Sacred Theology) of Leominster, MA, Sr. Anna Maria Maluf, M.I.C.M. of Vienna, OH and Agnes Malouf, a retired school teacher in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, and one niece, July O’Brien, of Burbank, CA.
