Paul J. Cormier

Paul J. Cormier, of Pepperell, passed from this life to the next on Sunday, November 28, 2021. He was born in Newton, MA son of the late Philip J. and Evelyn (Avery) Cormier.

Paul is survived by his wife Kathleen D. Cormier, son Alexander Cormier and wife Shiori, and granddaughters Emma and Leah of Raleigh, NC, and daughter Elizabeth Cormier and partner Dan Gill of Chelmsford. He was predeceased by his son, Garret Cormier of Pepperell, in 2011.  Paul is also survived by brother Donald Cormier and his wife Carol of Denver, NC, brother Neal Cormier and wife Lisa of Merrimac, MA, sister Charlene Carson and husband Chris of Billerica, nephew Michael Cormier and family, niece Allison Sullivan and family, Joseph Cormier and family, as well as many extended relatives and friends.

Paul retired from a varied career in information systems technology. He loved and cherished time spent with his family, weekend outings, playing golf in the Groton Senior Golf League, and being a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.  He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during Vietnam.  Paul will be missed everyday by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. A public memorial will be held at Church of the Good Shepherd, 214 Main Street, Nashua, NH on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1 p.m. Masks will be required inside the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to Folds of Honor, The Open Pantry of Greater Lowell, or the Salvation Army.
