She was a graduate of Middlesex Community College, with a degree in science, with honors provided by Phi Beta Kappa. She later graduated from Greater Lowell’s Practical Nursing Program. A licensed practical nurse, Nikole was outstanding in her profession, highly empathic, and committed to the health, treatment and well-being of her patients. Nikole’s great passion for her nursing profession was demonstrated with her patients under her hospice care. Nikole lived her values and gave us all reason to believe in the goodness of people. Her love for her Father, Mother, and Sister extends beyond her grave, and continues eternally. A reminder that she will always be with us, caring more for us than herself.
Nikole was predeceased by her husband, Peter Economidou, DAV, and her beloved nephew, Jackson Robert Nixon. She is survived by her father, Robert Carnevale, Esq., her mother, Cheryl (Carr) Carnevale, RN, and her devoted sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Kendra Carnevale, DC, and her husband, Michael Nixon. She is also survived by cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services for Nikole will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 (www.t2t.org).
