Nancy Alberta Phillips of Pepperell, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on April 30, 2023 of natural causes. She was 92.
Nancy was born on January 25th, 1931 to Ronald (Jack) White and Tryphena White and grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts. She was the oldest sister to her siblings Ronald White, Marian DiPietro, Kerry White and Debi Coish. Nancy graduated from Lexington High School in 1948. Nancy was a loving mother to her sons: John, Robert (Pugs), David and Chuck. She was an extremely hard worker and worked as an administrative assistant at NEBS for many years. Nancy was also a proud grandmother and loved spending time with and talking with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gram was truly one of a kind. She was smart, kind, generous, funny and tough. She loved day trips to the beach with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden. Many mornings she could be found reading the New York Times at her kitchen table, doing the crossword puzzle and admiring the birds. She cared deeply about the world, the people she loved, human rights, politics and the Red Sox. She believed in doing the right thing and helping those in need. To many around town, she was known as ‘Gram’ and she could always be counted on for some good conversation and wise words.
Nancy will be sincerely missed by her children John Phillips, Robert Phillips and his wife Barbara Phillips and Charles Phillips and his wife Brenda Phillips. She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
