Michael J. Graham Sr. 75, of Pepperell, Massachusetts, died Tuesday, March 11 2014 at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, MA, from complications due to a motor vehicle accident.
Michael was born in Methuen, Massachusetts, December 19, 1938, son of the late Peter F. and Rose A. (McAlea) Graham. Michael was a graduate of Tenney High School, Methuen, MA Class of 1956 and New England College, Henniker, NH class of 1965. For many years, he was a teacher in the Candia, NH, Tyngsboro, MA, and Holy Rosary School, Lawrence, Massachusetts school systems. In his teaching years, he was nominated and elected to the Outstanding Young Men of America Organization.
He received Honorable Discharge, Army of the United States 1964, received Certificate of Nomination American Legion and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Methuen, MA. He was known as a sports and political enthusiast, avid reader and always encouraged learning new things.
He was the husband of Nancy J. (Conley) Graham, survived by his son Michael J. Graham Jr. and his wife Isabel of Lowell, MA, Jane-Ellen (Graham) Decubellis and her husband Michael of Lyndeborough, NH, Kathleen E. (Graham) Lamarre and her husband Ronald of Dunstable, MA, Kelly A. (Graham) Tello and her husband David of Windham, NH, and Kevin P. Graham and his wife Marisa of Pepperell, MA.
He is also survived by his brother Peter F., and his wife Joann of Summerfield, Florida, Stephen P. and his wife Susan of Boynton Beach, Florida and his sister Sally A. (Graham) Lavigne and her husband Raymond Lavigne of Methuen, Massachusetts, along with many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind (20) grandchildren and (12) great grandchildren.
