Michael E. Allen

Michael E. Allen, 66, of Pepperell, Mass., passed away October 25, 2024, after a long period of declining health.

Michael grew up in Pepperell and was a 1976 graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School. He was a talented and accomplished carpenter and craftsman whose work can be found in many area homes, as well as homes in Colorado, Texas and Missouri.

He enjoyed golf, surfcasting off beaches on Cape Cod and Plum Island, and was an avid Boston sports fan. 

Michael is survived by his mother Elaine Krol of Pepperell; brother William Allen of Philo, CA (Nancy); sisters Dawn Kilbourn of Townsend (Jim) and Lisa Cramb-Dudley (Mark) of Merrimack, NH; stepsister Janine Miner (Rich) of Ludlow, VT; stepbrother Johnny Kroll of Lake Toxaway, NC; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, James Allen; brothers Terry and Mark; stepsister Kayla Galanos; and stepfather Stanley Krol. 

In appreciation of the care and service provided by Pepperell Fire/EMS and Pepperell Police, the family requests that donations be made in Michael’s name to either department, in lieu of flowers. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
