Maurice "Moe" J. Comeau, 68, of Downingtown, PA, formerly of Pepperell, MA, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. Comeau, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.
He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He received his Master's Degree from Northeastern University in Boston and worked for many years as a system engineer for Lockheed Martin.
Moe was in the group that started Main Line Macintosh Users Group (MLMUG) in 1989 and served in many capacities including past president, recording secretary, webmaster, and resident curmudgeon.
He was a volunteer with Lockheed Martin Corporation's NOVA program at Valley Forge National Historical Park, helping with repairs to the park's huts, mulching trees, trimming shrubs, and planting wild flowers.
He was also an educator and volunteered his time at schools and libraries teaching computer literacy.
Mr. Comeau is proudly watching over his wife Carol, and their children, Deb, Dave and Cindy. He will also be missed by his brothers, Phil and Bernard, and by his sister, Theresa McPartlan.
