Mary E. Lamont

Mary E. Lamont, 87, formerly of Pepperell passed away on Sunday, February 9th, 2014, at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer. She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on September 8th, 1926, daughter of the late William & Catherine (Redos) Ridarick.
She was married September 20, 1947, at All Saints Catholic Church in Jersey City, NJ to the love of her life John Peter Lamont and have celebrated 66 years of marriage. Residents of Rutherford, NJ, for 34 years and St. Mary's Parish they retired and relocated to Pepperell, MA, in 1996 and moved to Nashoba Park Assisted Living in Ayer in May 2012.
During her working years she was employed as a bookkeeper for Dr. Scholl's, Inc. in East Rutherford, NJ, and then ASM Company in Nutley, NJ.
Mary loved Broadway shows, music, movies, cooking, baking, and crocheting blankets & towels. She enjoyed attending church functions, weekly card games with special friends and spending time with family and grandchildren. More than anything, she was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend to so many. She was a beautiful, giving person with a huge heart who left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Mary is survived by her loving husband John Peter Lamont of Ayer, her son John J. Lamont of New York City, daughter Deborah Williams and her husband David of Groton, MA, three grandchildren Jessica (Williams) Wall and husband Timothy of Plainville, MA, Michael Williams of Riverview, FL and Katherine Williams of Rehoboth, MA, a sister Doris Perscheid of Lakewood, NJ, brother-in-law John Lopusnak, sister-in-law Mary Ridarick, and she was the sister of the late Joseph Ridarick, William Ridarick and Ann Lopusnak.
