Mary Elizabeth (LoVetere) Campano, 71, of Pepperell, MA, died peacefully at home on June 25, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born October 9, 1942, in Somerville, MA. Daughter of the late John A. and Mary E. (Bradley) LoVetere. Mary attended Stoneham High School and was a proud graduate of Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing, Boston, MA. She enjoyed a distinguished career in nursing in Vermont and Massachusetts. She was a devoted nurse for 17 years at Pepperell Family Practice. Close to her heart was her 30 years of work as a trustee to the Lawrence Library in Pepperell, MA.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Anthony G. Campano. She is also survived by her loving children Beth McNulty (Campano) and husband Michael of Groton, MA, Anthony M. Campano and wife Sue of Pepperell, MA, and Matthew J. Campano and wife Sarah of Hollis, NH. Lovingly adored and who will greatly miss their Grammy, her eight granddaughter's, Molly, Abigail, Paige, Madelyn, Sydney, Madison, Baily, and Olivia. Also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews, her beloved brother Joseph D. LoVetere and wife Jeanne (Bohling) of North Reading, MA. Loving sister of the late Jeanne (LoVetere) Hume and John A. LoVetere.
