Marjory V. Nickerson

Marjory V. (Smith) Nickerson, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 25, 2024 at D’Youville Senior Care. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Nickerson who died in 2010. 

Born May 14, 1931 in Everett, MA to Cyrus and Pearl Smith, Marjory spent her early in Everett before moving to Ipswich. She graduated from Ipswich High School ’48. 

Marjory worked as a receptionist at Medical Associates of Chelmsford and as a cashier at Marshall’s before joining her husband in operating Al’s T.V. Shack in North Chelmsford. 

Marjory resided at Pepperell Meadows for over 20 years.

Marjory is survived by her children, Mark (Carol) Player of Tyngsborough, Lisa Moore of Nashua, and Donald Player of Florida. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. In addition to her late husband, Al, she is predeceased by her sister, Edna Pascoe.

Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, 30 Main Street, North Chelmsford, MA on Monday, May 6^th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
