Marilyn E. Deering, of Pepperell, passed away on December 4, 2023, surrounded by her family after longtime illnesses.
She was born in Lowell, MA on May 9, 1943 daughter of the late Harry C. and Anna May (Desautells) Brown.
In her earlier years, she resided in Dracut but spent most of her life in Pepperell.
Prior to her retirement, Marilyn was employed for 25 years at Sheraton Tarr in Nashua, NH in hospitality and held many different positions.
Marilyn enjoyed time with family and friends, camping trips & travel, as well as gambling and arts and crafts.
She is survived by her daughter Kerryann E. Deering of Pepperell, Maureen Hurley of Lowell, two brothers, Bernard Brown and wife Pauline of Maine, and Thomas Brown and his wife Jeanne of Hudson, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
Marilyn is also the widow of the late John Deering of Dracut and longtime friend Raymond Hurley of Pepperell.
Marilyn is the sister of the late Rosemary Willard, Anna May (Nancy) Brien, Leo Brown, Harry Brown, Walter Brown, Raymond Brown, and William Brown.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 1251 Gorham St., Lowell, MA on Tuesday, December 19th at 1 pm.
