NEW IPSWICH -- Louise H. Hawkins of New Ipswich, NH, formerly of Pepperell died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua on July 4, 2013 after a brief Illness. She was born in Pepperell, daughter of the late Lionel A. and Marjorie (Gardner) Cornellier and was the wife of the late Robert H. Hawkins who died in 2001. A lifelong resident of Pepperell where she attended the schools. Mrs. Hawkins had been employed at the former Bemis Bag Company in Pepperell for 28 A½ years.

A lover of travel and intrigue she enjoyed her trips to such destinations Fox woods and Las Vegas. She is survived by her children Linda L. Rozolsky and her husband Michael of Wilbraham, MA, Carol A. VanValkenburg of Greenville, NH, Bonnie L. Powers of Ayer and James A. Hawkins and his significant other Deborah Stacey of New Ipswich, NH, a sister Elizabeth Conley of Townsend, 2 brothers Lionel Cornellier of Pepperell and Charles Cornellier of Manchester, NH, 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews, she was also the mother of the late Robert W. Hawkins and Charles D. Hawkins and 2 late sisters Marjorie Hawkins and Carolyn Rice.

Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Hamilton-McGAFFIGAN Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113), Pepperell. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Louise C. Hawkins to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or via www.dana-farber.org/gift
