Wonderful, kind, loving, strong, give the shirt off his back, funny, Uncle, Brother, Friend, Husband and yes sometimes an A**. These are all words that personify the man. Larry Keese passed away on December 17, 2015 after a short illness. He was born in Lawrence, MA August 21, 1958 and was the son of the late John A. and Mabel (Savin) Keese. He was loved and supported through life by Cathy, his wife, his brothers and sisters: John A. Keese Jr. of Clinton, MA, Leslie Pierce of Concord, NH, David R. Keese of Fitchburg, MA, Brian D. Keese of Davenport, FL, and Catherine F. Marion of Winchendon, MA. He is also the brother of the late Rita E. Kuhns, Paul J. Keese, and Gayle Keese. Larry's extended family Michael, Laura, Megan, and Matthew Moser of Comstock Park MI, Anne T. Malcolm from Old Bridge NJ, and his beloved Henrietta and Myrtle. Larry will be most remembered for the magnificent representation of Santa, over the years he enjoyed delivering toys and dreams to individuals with disabilities at a yearly Christmas Party honoring the memory of Scott Luce. The spark in his eye became bright as soon as the Santa hat adorned his head. Larry loved the look of wonder in the eyes of children, especially his family. He would find the perfect song, or comedy bit to fit any occasion. Larry was legendary in his cooking for his monthly poker buddies, Baked beans, Chili and Kitty litter Cake were his among his culinary delights.
Larry considered himself lucky to manage the Hardware department at Belletetes Hardware in Winchendon for many years. He often said he didn't mind going to work, it was too much like hanging out with friends. " You will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory "
