Brookline - Kendall Charles Van Schoick passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16, 2013. He was born in Nashua, NH on July 19, 1993, son of Lindsay Van Schoick and Helen (Manoso) Carpio.
He graduated from Hollis Brookline High School in 2011 and was studying High Performance Automotive at the University of Northwestern Ohio. Kendall was a passionate and talented skier who used these traits as a ski instructor at Crotched Mountain. He was also passionate about soccer, basketball, volleyball and lacrosse; his drive and competitive spirit inspired other players as well. He was also a Bruins, Celtics, and Patriots enthusiast. His interest in cars became a passion that influenced his studies and career pursuits.
Kendall loved his family and was a friend to people from all walks of life. He had a contagious personality and an amazing ability to make others happy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, as well as the Hollis Brookline community.
He leaves his sister Courtney Van Schoick of Brookline, NH, his sister Kaitlin Verkest and her husband Jeffrey of Pennsylvania and their children Nolan and Molly, many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as a multitude of friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Crotched Mountain Ski Area on Wednesday, August 21 at 11am.
