Judy Ann Jarvis

Judy Ann Jarvis, 67, of Groton, formerly of Ayer, passed away at her home on March 26, 2023. She was born in Ayer on March 17, 1956 daughter of the late Richard Earl and Gabrielle Alice (Boisvert) Chase.

Judy spent her early life in Ayer and graduated from Ayer High School in 1974 with highest honors. She was employed as a Legal Secretary at the Lorden Law Office in Harvard for many years. She later moved to Groton in 2013.

Judy loved gardening, cooking, spending time with family, her cats, and being outdoors. Her kindness and warm spirit was felt by all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lee Jarvis of Alburgh, VT and granddaughter Ashley Jarvis of Alburgh, VT. She is also survived by niece Sheri and husband Steve Miner of Shirley, nephew Shane and wife Bobbi Chase of Devens, great-nephew Brody Miner of Shirley, and many cousins and friends. Judy was predeceased by her life-long companion, Alfred Roger “Rick” Soucy, Jr.

Judy will be laid to rest in Saint Amadeus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Alburgh, VT. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy’s memory may be made to Pat Brody Shelter for Cats, P.O. Box 142, Lunenburg, MA 01462 ( www.catsontheweb.org )
