John (Jack) Delaney, 69, of Pepperell died surrounded by loved ones on December 26,2016. He was the loving husband of Karen (Lynch) Delaney for 43 years and father to daughter Kathleen Clement and her husband Jason of Pepperell, son John Delaney and his wife Amanda of Leominster, and daughter Meaghan Delaney and her husband Daniel Stanhope of Pepperell. He leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alexis, Jack and Leah.
Jack was born in Austin, MN, son of the late Charles and Cecelia (McGee) Delaney, the oldest of ten children. He worked as a papermaker in Pepperell after leaving the Army. He most recently worked as a gas attendant at Pepperell Collision. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and raising pigeons.
Visiting hours 5-8 Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main Street, Pepperell, MA. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday January 4th at 10 am at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshipping at St. Joseph’s Church 28 Tarbell Street, Pepperell, MA.
