John Joseph Leary

John J. Leary died on January 27, 2019. He was born in Groton on August 22, 1941 son of the late James F. and Helen (Sheperd) Leary.  Mr. Leary was a lifelong resident of Pepperell, and was a graduate of Pepperell High School. He was a long time employee of The James River Paper Company and the J.F. McGowan Company of Nashua, NH.  He was a longtime Parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Pepperell.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, June M. (Davis) Leary and was the father of the late Joseph E. Leary who died May 7, 2019 after a short illness. He is also survived by his grandsons Zackary and Shaun Leary, and was the brother of the late Richard T. and James F. Leary. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held for both Mr. Leary and his late son Joseph on Monday, July 15 at 1 PM at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshipping at St. Joseph’s Church, 28 Tarbell St. Pepperell, MA.
