John L. Greenbach

John L. Greenbach, 84, of Bullhead, AZ passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 after ongoing medical issues caused by a severe stroke.

He was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Poekel) Greenbach, who survives him.

John was born on March 12, 1934 in San Francisco, CA the only child of the late Arthur Greenbach of San Francisco, CA and the late Anne Siegel also of San Francisco. He is also survived by two stepsisters Michelle (Greenbach) Goldman and Judith Greenbach.

John in his younger years played the drums and guitar. He played in several bands including; The Honeydrops, The Naturals, and The Five Whispers to name a few. He wrote hundreds of songs that were on major record labels. Some songs that were published were; Sad Tomorrows by Trini Lopez, Kickapoo Joy Juice by Rivingtons, The Mummy by The Naturals.

John’s passion has always been music and making people happy. After moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1986, he started the successful entertainment company, Karaoke Las Vegas. It was the first company of its kind. Offering casinos an entertainment package that provided them with karaoke, music, and impersonators. He worked in all the major casinos over the years. John was the original Karaoke King of Las Vegas.

John enjoyed his sweets and black coffee. He loved to make people laugh and smile and had a great sense of humor. Also, he liked the band Pitbull which in his words, “always got the people up and dancing.” Although his children were spread apart and he didn’t get to see them often, he loved them all deeply.

Along with his wife Linda, John is survived by his six children and seven grandchildren: son Jeffery Louis Greenbach of Auburn, CA, granddaughter Autumn Fletcher; daughter Cheryl Ann Greenbach-Gray of Auburn, CA, grandson Louis Earl Gray; son Chad Arthur Greenbach of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughter Brittanie Catherine Greenbach, and grandson Gabriel Michael Greenbach; son Jason Henry Greenbach of Durant, OK; daughter Nicole Jacquelynn (Greenbach) Cyker and son-in-law Joshua Cyker of Pepperell, MA, grandchildren Jacob Ethan Cyker and Nathan Elijah Cyker. He is also survived by his wife’s daughter, Tania Arndt and her husband Steven Sillich of Merrimack, NH, and her daughter Patience Morrow. Each of whom he loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Friday, February 1, at 11 am. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperell.
