Jennifer Lynne Marques

Jennifer Lynne Marques, "Jenny Benny", 15, of Pepperell, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

She was born in Boston on June 27, 2007, the adored daughter of Richard "Rickie" and Eileen Marques. Jenny was a lively, outgoing spirit who resided in Pepperell her entire life, where she was always surrounded by friends and family. She attended Varnum Brook Elementary School from kindergarten through fourth grade, Nissitissit Middle School from fifth through eighth grades, and was a sophomore at North Middlesex High School, where she loved playing sports, including softball, basketball, and lacrosse.

In addition to her loving parents, Jennifer is survived by her siblings, Jessica, Ricky and Johnny Marques, as well as Christopher and Michael Shanahan; grandparents Allan "Papa" and Judy "Nana" Shanahan, and Richard "Avo" Marques; her loving aunts and uncles; many cousins; and endless friends. Jennifer is predeceased by her grandmother, the late Carol "Grandma" Marques.

Jennifer was known to all her friends, family, and teachers as an outgoing, bubbly, and energetic girl, who was deeply loved and will be extremely missed. Although her time with us was cut way too short, we loved every moment!

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2 – 6 p.m. Jennifer’s Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshiping at St. Joseph Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell, MA on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Association Cemetery, Park St., Pepperell. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Shine Initiative ( www.shineinitiative.org ).
