Hazel Louise Hardy, 83, died unexpectedly February 16th at Lowell General Hospital. She was born in South Addison, Maine, August 1, 1931. Wife of the late John F. Hardy Sr. Daughter of the late Ralph and Louise (Ackerman) Joy Sr.
Before retiring she was an Inspector at Conductor Lab, Groton and previously a nurse's aide at Park Manor and Freeman nursing homes.
During her free time she enjoyed reading, bird watching and puzzles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her two children, son, Stephen Hardy and his wife Lynne of Pepperell and daughter, Pamela Lund and husband David of Pepperell. Eight grandchildren, Kathryn Taparausky and husband Keith of Dudley, Christopher Hardy and wife Patricia of Townsend, Craig Smith and wife Tammy of Townsend, Lorianne Tsoulas and husband Angelo of Lynn, Danielle Pegram and husband Jerome of Leominster, David Lund of Pepperell, Brandon Lund of Lowell and Justin Lund of Pepperell. Nine great grandchildren, Kaden, Kelsey, Kyle and Konner Taparausky, Cassidy and Caleigh Hardy, Jacob and Ashlee Smith and Evan Tsoulas. She is also survived by her best friend Ann Hall of Pepperell.
