Gregory William Gibson born in Boston, on September 26, 1946, to G.W. Gibson and his wife Mary (Butler), passed away on March 5, 2015, after his courageous battle with several medical issues. He leaves the love of his life, his wife Joan Gibson, who he was married to for 43 years. They have two beautiful children, his son Brett Gibson, whose companion is Misty Campbell of Concord, NH, and his daughter Katie Anne Wright of Pepperell, Massachusetts. Greg is also survived by three young grandchildren, Jackson Wright, Emery Wright, and Chase Campbell, whom he adored. He is also survived by his siblings, Barbara Taylor and her husband Russ, Kenneth Gibson and his wife Pauline, Daniel Gibson and his wife Lynn, and Ronald Gibson. Greg is also survived by an extensive and loving family that includes his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends, including his life-long friends Brian and Barbara Manser.
Greg graduated from Western New England College and received a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He was an accomplished businessman who was owner and Chief Executive Officer of a manufacturer's agency, which did business throughout New England.
In addition to many business accomplishments, Greg loved sports, starting with coaching his children. He was also an accomplished golfer. Greg enjoyed spending his time traveling with his family and witnessed some of the great sports venues of the world, including attending the Kentucky Derby, the Breeder's Cup, and Newmarket Races in England.
Along with his extended family, Greg enjoyed his summers at Lake Winnipesaukee and he had a summer home in Melvin Village, that his family has enjoyed for many decades.
Greg will be greatly missed by his wife Joan, his children, relatives, and friends.
