Glenn Robert Campbell, age 73, of Pepperell, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, after 2+ years living with Lewy Body Dementia. He was surrounded by his family. He was a devoted loving husband and father. Family was the most important thing to him. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Barnes Campbell and Evelyn Rose (Corbin) Campbell as well as his brother, Doug Campbell. He is survived by his wife Deborah Kay (Tremblay) Campbell, his three daughters, Colleen Adel Campbell, Tracey Lynne Campbell, Katie Ann Campbell & Son in law- Alex Shepherd, one Granddaughter, Cassidy Rose Shepherd, and two sisters, Phyllis Campbell and Carolyn Arsenault.

Glenn lived in Medford, MA for the first few years of his life. The family then moved to Tewksbury, where he attended elementary through high school. He joined the Air Force right after High School and served from 1969-1972 during the Vietnam War. He was stationed at Wasserkuppe, Germany, working in communications.

He worked at EG&G in Bedford as Computer Operator. For most of his career he worked at MIT/Haystack in Westford, MA as a Database Manager, retiring in February of 2018. He enjoyed playing hockey and tennis in his younger years.

He met his wife Debbie at EG&G, where they both worked. They were engaged 3 months later. They were always together – enjoying many trips, exploring new places. He was very involved with the caring of his three girls. He always encouraged them to look out for each other and the importance of family. He was very involved with their sporting events and couched some of their soccer teams. He always had a close relationship with all 3 of his daughters – after they were on their own. He enjoyed being a Grandpa and loved getting to see her and having FaceTime in between.

Glenn enjoyed visiting family and friends, holiday get-togethers, cookouts and family reunions. He enjoyed doing genealogy research – which led to a trip to Nova Scotia to see the place where his ancestors lived and find their graves. He was very close to his Grandmother. He developed a love of poetry and genealogy from her. He had written poems throughout his life also.

His favorite saying was: Better than it was – not as good as it could be.
