Geraldine Ann (Stewart, Hallbourg) Hamilton, 6 April 1943 – 24 August 2021. Beloved mother and wife passed to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior after a long, well-fought, battle.
Daughter of Leslie and Gertrude Stewart, Jerri, as she was known by all her friends was born, raised, and lived her entire life in the quaint town of Pepperell, MA. In 1961, she was a member of the last graduating class of Pepperell High School. In addition to being a loving mother and homemaker, she was a trained electronic technician who worked at Sanders Corp, Nashua, NH at the beginning of her career and later retired from a local start-up (Burk Technology). As meticulous and professional as she was as a technician, her passions were the other, more important, things of this life. Most notably, her love for her children and later her grandchildren who she endlessly adored. She greatly enjoyed all things beach related, like lighthouses, long walks along the shoreline, and seafood, particularly lobster. Following their retirement, she and Ron spent multiple years wintering beachside in Carrabelle, FL and driving around our country in their RV, fulfilling their shared lifelong dream.
Her first husband, David Hebert Hallbourg, and their eldest child (son) Stewart predeceased her. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 46 years, Ronald A. Hamilton of Pepperell , her son Keith Hallbourg and his wife Cheryl of Pepperell, her daughter Dori (Hamilton) Higgins and her husband Jason of Merrimack, NH, and her four grandchildren, Brady Higgins, Elyse Hallbourg, Olivia Hallbourg, and Nathaniel Hallbourg.
