Gary Glen Hooper

Gary Glen Hooper, 55, died peacefully at his home in Leominster on July 1st, 2019 after a brief illness. Gary was born October 6, 1963 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He spent the first years of his life traveling with his military family.  When his father retired from the military in 1972, they settled in West Groton.

Gary attended Groton-Dunstable Schools. He worked as painter and construction worker. Gary was a talented artist and also enjoyed cycling, fishing, and yard sailing.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Hooper, his brothers: John Hooper of Shirley and Keith Hooper of West Groton, and his sisters: Joni Westover of Leominster, Cheryl Hooper of Lunenburg, Therese Steppert of Ashburnham, and Tracey Kittredge of Barre. He leaves four children: Leann Stupak of Townsend, Alyssa Hooper of Pepperell, Adam Hooper of Pepperell, and Andrew Hooper of Nashua, NH. He also leaves three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
