Fred E. Shattuck

Fred E. Shattuck, 93, died Wednesday July 22,2015 at the Harris Hill Genesis Health Care in Concord. He was born in Pepperell, MA September 26, 1921 son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Lohnes) Shattuck and was the husband of the late Shirley (Lundeen) Shattuck.
He was a long time Pepperell resident and was a graduate of Pepperell High School. A veteran of WWII he served in the United States Army. A Dairy farmer most of his life he owned and operated Shattuck Farm in Dunstable. He also served as a Dunstable Police Officer and had also worked for the Dunstable Post Office as a mail carrier. Mr. Shattuck also was a past member of the Lawrence Memorial Methodist Church in Pepperell.
In his later years he enjoyed restoring old homes and had operated Real Estate Enterprises. He and his late wife also enjoyed antiquing.

He is survived by his children Fred Shattuck of Brighton, Co, Lawrence Shattuck of Finksburg, Md , DiAnne Demmons of Hillsboro, NH and Carolyn Airey of Mason, NH and was the father of the late John Shattuck. He is also survived by Ralph Shattuck of Peterborough, NH and was the brother of the late Roger, Dana and Jean Shattuck.
