Eileen (Larrivee) Marchildon

Eileen Marchildon, resident of Pepperell, MA, the beloved wife of Ronald D. Marchildon, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by family, on Monday, February 17th, 2025, following a brief illness. She was seventy-seven.

Born in Lowell on April 29th, 1947, Eileen was the daughter of the late William and Vera (Myron) Larrivee. She remained a resident of Lowell for many years, before settling in Pepperell, MA, later in life.

Eileen attended Lowell Schools and graduated from Lowell High School, class of 1965.

Eileen worked tirelessly to help many others, having worked at Lowell City Hall earlier in her career, and later, for many years at Community Teamwork Inc. of Lowell, providing services for those in need.

She enjoyed quiet, peaceful afternoons in Pepperell, MA, long talks with her sister Kathleen, trips to the White Mountains, reading, and she was a lover of animals. Most important to Eileen were her family. She cherished visits from her children, grandchild and family holiday gatherings. She was a wonderful listener, always available to help others, and had a gift for making others feel better, when they most needed it.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronald D. Marchildon of Pepperell, MA; her two children and their spouses, Pamela and Sean Donnelly of Naples, FL, Robert Marchildon and Emma Kwong of Brooklyn, NY and a grandchild, Louis Marchildon. Mrs. Marchildon also leaves her brother, William Larrivee and his wife Carol of Westford, MA and her sister, Kathleen (Larrivee) Cymbura and her husband William of Pepperell, MA; sister-in-law, Therese (Marchildon) Corkum and her husband Roger, as well as several nieces, a nephew, their spouses and children.

Eileen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshiping at St. Joseph Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell, MA on Monday, March 3rd at 11 am. Burial will be private.
