Dorothy (Fuccillo) Capraro

Dorothy (Fuccillo) Capraro of Groton, formerly of Medford passed peacefully at home on October 24, 2021

She was born in Boston, the daughter of Gaetano and Lena (Rossetti) Fuccillo and was raised along with her brother Richard in Boston's North End.

She later married the late Louis Capraro. Together they moved to Medford and shared a long and loving marriage.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and daughter, Dorothy made a welcoming home for all.  An avid fan, her favorite pastime was watching the Red Sox with family and friends.

Dorothy was predeceased by her brother Richard Fuccillo and her daughter Lois Masci.

She is survived by her devoted and much-loved nephew Richard Fuccillo, with whom she lived for the past nine years. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford, MA on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.StJude.org).
