Dennis Thomas Lowery

Dennis Thomas Lowery, 47, of Pepperell, MA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on April 6, 2023, after a courageous battle with soft tissue sarcoma. Born on August 24, 1975, in Boston, MA to Denice Lowery and Dennis Tennyson. Dennis was raised in Cambridge, MA, by his loving grandparents, the late Thomas and Annie Jones.

Dennis attended Fitchburg State College and was a member of Iota Phi Theta fraternity. He worked in the IT field for the public school system in the city of Arlington, MA. He was known for his exceptional work ethic and dedication to his job.

Dennis had a passion for music and was an avid lover of all types of music. He even enjoyed creating his own music. He often spent his time fixing and tinkering with electronics. He also had a love for fishing.

Dennis was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, brother-in-law, and son-in-law. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 26 years, Nicole Lowery (LaFauci), and children Alexis Lowery, Marcus Lowery, and Symone Lowery. He was also a proud grandfather to his grandson Jasiah Brown. Dennis was a cherished brother to his siblings, Janaya Lowery of Malden, Cory Lowery of Cambridge, Melissa Franklin of Rhode Island, and Kimberly Benedith of New Jersey, and nephew to Roschelle King of Cambridge. Dennis is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dennis will always be remembered for his positive outlook, kind heart, and infectious smile. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Wednesday, April 12th from 4 - 7 p.m. Dennis’ Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 13th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Association Cemetery, Pepperell.
