Clark Weston Paige, Sr.

Clark W. Paige, Sr., 91, of Southampton, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts. Clark was born in Westford, Vermont on December 29, 1930 the son of the late Henry W. and Vynne (Wilcox) Paige. Clark served in the U.S. Army as a private in the core engineering department. He was married to the late Martha (Roberts) Paige. They were blessed with two sons, the late Clark W. Paige, Jr. of Ayer and the late Brian E. Paige of Southampton. Clark was a retired firefighter for the Town of Ayer. He was also a Constable for many years in the Town of Ayer during his retirement.

Clark leaves behind many grandchildren, Christopher Paige and his wife Jeanne of London, United Kingdom and their four children Brady, Annie, Connor, and Christopher. Clark also leaves behind granddaughter Nadine Paige of Ayer, grandson Nicholas Paige of Southampton with his great-granddaughter Emily, granddaughter Sarah and her husband Kevin Humphreys of Troy, NH and great-granddaughter MacKenzie, grandson Matthew Doughtery from Athol, grandson Brandon MMN2 in the U.S. Navy and wife Megan of Kings Bay, Georgia and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Clark was a proud and devoted member of many fraternal organizations in Massachusetts. He was Past Master of Caleb Butler Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Ayer, holding 70+ years of membership. He was a Past Royal Patron of Nashoba Valley Court No. 13, Order of the Amaranth in Concord, and served as Past Grand Royal Patron of the Grand Court of Massachusetts. He was a member and Past Patron of Ida McKinley Chapter No. 86 Order of the Eastern Star, in Ayer, as well as a Shriner of Aleppo Temple and many other groups.

Clark’s Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Caleb Butler Lodge, 11 Sculley Road, Ayer, MA from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A private graveside memorial will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
