Christopher Michael Shaw

Christopher M. Shaw 34, of Gardner, passed away after a long battle with addiction on November 3, 2018.

Christopher was born in Fitchburg, MA at Burbank Hospital, on January 20th, 1984.

He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, and cousin. Christopher attended North Middlesex Regional public schools. He started his first job working at Ray's Package Store, and carried on working there for many years. Chris also worked in plastering for many years, and worked at Stone Edge Design as well.

Chris enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, going to the beach, and spending time playing with his beloved dogs Oynx and Phoenix.

Christopher is survived by his mother Claudette L. “ToeToe” Alix, stepfather John V. Pasteris, sister Amanda L. Alix, all of Pepperell, and girlfriend of 10 years Melanie L. Russell of Gardner, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Christopher is predeceased by his father Michael P. Shaw of Dunstable, and his brother Joshua K. Alix of Pepperell.


Visiting hours for Christopher will be held Thursday, November 8th from 5-7 PM at the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Immediately following the visitation, the family will be gathering at Charlotte’s Cozy Kitchen, 142 Main St. Pepperell, where they have invited family and friends to join with them.
