Charles Victor "Chuck" Hatfield

Charles Victor “Chuck” Hatfield, age 87, a longtime resident of Tyngsborough, passed away peacefully at D’Youville Senior Care on January 16, 2025. Chuck was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 1, 1937. He was the son of the late Jerome V. and Ethel (Honey) Hatfield. 

Chuck spent his early life in Providence, Rhode Island before graduating from Lowell Vocational School. He served honorably in the United States Army. For over 30 years, Chuck worked for Raytheon as an electronic technician. He also was a very skilled guitar player, specializing in country western music. 

In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his sisters Joyce Mota and Geraldine Vaness. He is survived by his sister, Roberta McGovern and husband Hugh of Dunstable. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A private burial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck’s memory to Care Dimensions (hospice care), 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923 (www.caredimensions.org).
