Ann Faith Woods

Ann Faith Woods, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2023, with her beloved family and her dog, Bro, by her side. Ann was born on April 10, 1940 and was known for her kindness, sass, and unwavering dedication to her family and animals. 

Though she never married, Ann’s life was filled with love and devotion from her family and the many animals she cared for throughout her live. She is survived by her brother James Woods and his wife Joanne of Florida and her sister Martha Wheeler and her husband Joel of Milford, Massachusetts. Ann was predeceased by her brother William Woods and her sister Cynthia Mullan. Ann dedicated her career to helping others as an EMT in Townsend, Massachusetts. She was also an avid volunteer for the Red Cross, spending three weeks in 1989 providing critical assistance during Hurricane Hugo. Her selflessness and compassion touches the lived of many, and her contributions to her community will not be forgotten. Ann’s family and friends will always remember her as a kind and unique soul who would do anything for those she loved. 

Services for Ann will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ann’s name to the Red Cross or a local animal shelter, reflecting her lifelong passions and commitment to helping others. Ann Faith Woods will be deeply missed but her spirit and legacy of love, service and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
