Alberta "Peggy" A. (Buklerewicz) Babcock

Alberta “Peggy” A. Babcock died Wednesday May 17,2017 died at her home. She was born in Shirley May 30, 1927   daughter of the late John and Mickalina (Swiryda) Buklerewicz and was the wife of the late Charles G. Babcock and the mother of the late Eugene R. and David J. Babcock.

In her working years she had been employed at the former Groton Hospital and later at the Nashoba Community Hospital and Nashoba Medical Center as a Nurses Aid, Ward Secretary, Mail Room and Laundry.    She had been employed at the Medical Center for 39 years.Mrs. Babcock was a member of St. James Church   West Groton, Ladies Auxiliary of the Pepperell V.F.W Post #3291. She also enjoyed working in her garden in her free time. She is survived by her son James R. “Wolfman” Babcock of West Groton and 7 grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister Vincesca Carbo and brother Julius Buklerewicz..

Alberta “Peggy” Babcock May 17, 2017 A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 10 AM May 23, at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshipping at St. St. James Church St. James Avenue West Groton. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Ayer.  Relatives and friends will be received by the family Monday 5-7 PM at the McGAFFIGAN Funeral Home 37 Main ST. (Rte. 113) Pepperell.
