Joanne “Joby” Doyle passed away on Monday, March 21st, 2022. Joby was born on July 24th, 1941, to Joseph and Beatrice (Shon) Doyle, from whom she affectionately obtained her nickname. Joby was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years in the East Ramapo Central School District located in Spring Valley, New York. She was loved and adored by all of her students.
Joby was active and caring, and spent most of her life thinking about others. She surrounded herself with her family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.
She spent the majority of her life in Pleasantville, New York where she was able to care for her many relatives. Upon her retirement, Joby continued her love of teaching by volunteering to teach Religious Education at Holy Innocents located there as well. In later years, she moved to Pepperell, Massachusetts, and enjoyed her summer home in Clinton, Connecticut.
Joby was one of four siblings, William Doyle, the late Timothy Doyle, and Patricia (Doyle) Daly.
She was a devoted cousin and aunt to many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, who supported and embraced her throughout her journey in life.
